Submissions & Contracts & Edits, Oh My!

A few things to report! While away on vacation with the fam this past week (great times!) I received some good news on the writing front.

First, my drabbles “Something in the Wind” and “The Rush” were accepted to be included in the Winds of Despair anthology by Fantasia Divinity Magazine. This here’s the nifty cover:

Second, my drabble “Mouths to Feed” was accepted into Black Hare Press’ Apocalypse anthology for which I’ve already signed the contract. Here’s the nifty cover for that:

And third, I just sent back the approval for edits to my short story “Children of the Woods” which is a dark story based off the reverse meaning of the Empress tarot card. This is to be included in a tarot card anthology called Cards of Fate. No cover for that one yet, but as soon as I get one, I’ll post.

Now, I’m working on another dark drabble for the Apocalypse anthology (I’d like to get in at least one more, two if possible!) and also a few drabbles for Fantasia Divinity’s next elemental drabbles series which is going to be about water (as the first was about wind). I hope I can get in!

And finally, this little beauty that I helped edit is soon to be released on Amazon and I’m pretty proud to be a part of it. It’s for charity (St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital) and some copies will even be passed out to a children’s hospital in Tennessee, so that’s pretty special. It’s the first book I’ve edited for children and it was a lot of fun!

Welp, back to work! 🙂
